- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking
- Prepare sterile IV infusion solutions using aseptic technique
- Administer medications to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication orders and patient safety
- Maintain patient records and documentation of medication administration
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00 per hour
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
- Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Please note that this position requires the ability to work in critical care areas where inhalation of hazardous substances may occur.
Experience:
- hospital: 1 year (Preferred)
