Property Accountant

We are currently working with an actively growing commercial real estate firm that is looking for a property accountant to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAM reconciliations and be familiar with Yardi, with experience working within real estate private equity.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for commercial real estate properties, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of property budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.

• CAM Reconciliations: Perform Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, including analysis of expenses and billings to tenants. Resolve discrepancies and disputes as needed.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting rules affecting the real estate industry.
