job duties:
- Oversee the financial strategy and health of the organization, ensuring that financial commitments are met.
- Direct and oversee all financial activities including transaction details, audit trail, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate the development of the annual operating budget and monitor budgetary lines.
- Provide guidance on the financial implications of business decisions and strategies.
- Lead financial risk management efforts, identify threats and opportunities, and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial planning.
- Manage, guide, and develop the finance team to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, standards, and tax obligations.
- Produce comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders and board members.
- Analyze financial data to inform business improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Finance, Business, or related major. CPA or CFA is preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience in senior financial roles, with a proven track record in financial management and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including managing teams and projects.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
