Director of Accounting

Join our client’s team and take charge of critical accounting and financial reporting activities across various business divisions. This role perfect for someone with strong technical accounting expertise, a passion for process improvement, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial audits, reporting, and statement preparation for company divisions.
• Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Handle capital calls, partner distributions, and financial forecasting.
• Implement ERP and project management software.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Lead financial reconciliations, tax return coordination, and bond reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors and manage technical accounting issues.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Active CPA certification with at least 6 years of experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, audit skills, and financial reporting experience.
• Prior real estate or public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Yardi, Excel, and financial software tools.
