I was in search of a job in a very difficult economy when a friend referred me to GLC.
From my very first phone call, I realized that GLC was a company I would be proud to work for. My recruiter, Toni, immediately felt my anguish. Her first words to me were very comforting and I was immediately encouraged that even in the midst of these tough times, they would be able to find the right job for me. During the process, Toni would consistently call to reassure me and let me know that everything was going to be all right. My GLC “WOW” MomentI would have to describe my overall experience with GLC as outstanding; however, my WOW Moment came when I faxed them my personal documents. Being that these documents (including my social security card, bank reference, etc.) are extremely confidential in nature, I was concerned that they may potentially get into the wrong hands of an unauthorized individual. Then, at the very same moment I was thinking about calling my recruiter to confirm receipt of these documents, surprisingly, she called me first to let me know that they were received and were, in fact, secure. It was very reassuring to know that we were definitely in sync with one another and these systems are in place for our protection.
I was referred to GLC by a former coworker because of their professionalism and reliability. I was fortunate to have had a dynamic recruiter who made me feel comfortable right from the start. That strong relationship continued even after I was gainfully employed. I received calls from GLC recruiters to make sure things were going well and to get my feedback on everything from the job responsibilities to basic administrative issues. There are so many things that set GLC apart from other staffing companies. To name a few, they are extremely caring, passionate, and understanding – not to mention knowledgeable, dedicated and professional. My experience has certainly exceeded all of my expectations. My “WOW” Moment
GLC Group reached out to me through LinkedIn for an opportunity that was a perfect fit for my skill set. After our initial discussion and after they had forwarded my resume’ on to his client, my recruiter kept me informed throughout the interview progress, gave me tips and encouragement and always kept a positive attitude throughout the process. He was the first call I’d make after the interview to share my thoughts and get feedback. I just wanted to express my satisfaction with working with your team. I have not worked with recruiters previously and could not have asked for a better experience.
My primary recruiter Yvette called me daily, often several times a day to keep me posted on the status of the position. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever come across someone as tenacious and dedicated. In addition, she has been supportive, friendly, and has demonstrates a very good sense of humor (a trait that I find invaluable). Thanks for the opportunity you gave me with Humana. The money you paid me has been the most I have ever made on an hourly basis. You (and Cary) took me out of retirement to enjoy working fulltime again. Also thanks for your help with my State tax problem. Thanks for the Holiday present, too.
